Our commitment to accessibility

Lavi Software Services attaches the highest importance to providing an equal, respectful and accessible service to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We invest resources and effort in making this site usable and convenient for everyone, in the belief that every person has an equal right to consume information and services online.

Conformance level

The site has been made accessible in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA. In practice, the site was built and tested against the current version of the guidelines — WCAG 2.2 at level AA.

Accessibility features implemented

Adjustments implemented on the site include:

  • Semantic page structure (headings, landmarks and labelled forms) supporting screen readers.
  • Full keyboard navigation, including a "skip to main content" link and a clearly visible focus indicator.
  • Contrast ratios meeting AA requirements in all color schemes (light and dark modes).
  • A dedicated accessibility widget: three-step text enlargement, high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, stopping animations and videos, and a readable font — preferences persist between visits.
  • Respecting the operating-system reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Full support for three languages — Hebrew, Arabic and English — including full directionality (RTL/LTR).
  • Alternative text for images and ARIA descriptions for interactive components.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some legacy blog images, migrated from the previous site, may lack complete alternative text. We are working to complete it.
  • Content embedded from third parties (such as videos or external components) may not meet the same accessibility level, as it is not fully under our control.
